In summer 2024, Rusem created a new discord server here: https://discord.gg/hG4EsgxQQe
On November 30, 2024, in a small meeting of members from Powstanie Piastowskie, new Discord strategy was discussed
the importance of new catchy and easy name was emphasized
instead of creating a rebellious "school strike server", we should create "anti-school youth community" with focus on a friendly place that serves comfort and true education

History

the original idea was an End School Slavery server proposed by a student from England (2021)
the original strike idea was from Sussen who have their own Discord server
school strike 2022 used Koniec Przymusu Szkolnego server that was deleted, and later Wiosna Uczniow server that is currently inactive
for school strike, Bandido (aged 13), created Powstanie Piastowskie server, which was pretty riotous but not too impactful
in 2024, Powstanie Piastowskie was advertised on strike websites and leafelets, but it was not a friendly place; students would jump in and quit fast
in summer 2024, Rusem concluded he wanted to set up a professional server that could serve the purpose of the community as well as a medium to discuss school strike (and on dedicated channels)

Name

First mini-vote on the new names was run by Classic on Nov 30, 2024. Goodbye School, and Powstanie Piastowskie got most votes. Other names with votes: Szkola Wolna, Nie Szkola Propositions for a Facebook vote that will later be used to a selection vote on Discord:
