Luzna rozmowa n.t. reformy edukacji.

Trzy pytania z tezą związane z projektem Lex Libertas zada grupa uczniów oraz Dr Piotr Wozniak:

Rationale

Lex Libertas is the most precious fruit of the student strike in Poland (2022). Lex Libertas was drafted under the guidance of the Round Table of Education, which had little to do with an physical wooden table. It was all about modern tools such as Media Wiki, Discord and collective intelligence.

By 2025, chances of bringing Lex Libertas to Polish parliament are slim due to lack of explicit support from the members of the parliament. There were only two members of parliament who ever expressed their willingness to talk to students about their concerns. These were Artur Dziambor (2023) and Marcin Jozefaciuk (2024). What is worse, only Artur Dziambor admitted that the ideas of Lex Libertas align well with his own views on education. Both MPs have roots in education and education stands in the center of their expertise in political life. In February 2024, students proposed a debate between the MPs in hope of energizing the efforts to bring Lex Libertas to fruition. The planned coincidence of the debate with the school strike 2024 did not pan out.

A new date has been proposed: Feb 13, 2025. In the original set up, students were supposed to ask provocative questions of the MPs. Today, it makes more sense to change the formula of the debate. We should rather schedule just 3 starting point questions that would align with 3 tenets of Lex Libertas: student autonomy, school autonomy and school vouchers. These would be questions with a thesis to reflect the stand of the Round Table of Education. The MPs will be given a chance to provide their own spin on issues at hand.

The debate will crown the achievements of 3 years of student attempts to organize a protest against coercive schooling. 3 years of fight for human rights in Polish schools.
